The Evening

An evening worthy
of the cause it serves.

For one night each November, the Foyer of the Palais Garnier is given over to a single purpose: to raise the operating budget of every Shelter for Health house for the coming year.

Three hundred guests. A reception beneath the chandeliers. A seated dinner conducted in candlelight. A live auction of works lent — for that night only — by partner museums in Paris, Madrid, Vienna, Florence, Amsterdam, and London.

And, between the courses, a quiet performance by an artist who believes in the mission. Past editions have welcomed Yo-Yo Ma, Cecilia Bartoli, and the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet.
